Welcome to our home, a 16th century farmhouse nestled in a small village in the South Downs. Classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty, this is on a working arable farm which is now run by Martin and Carole and has been in the family for several generations. West Marden is equidistant between Petersfield and Chichester and this area is an ideal base for touring the South Coast or for walking or cycling the South Downs. The historic city of Portsmouth and the ferry ports are under half an hour from here and the nearest main line station at Rowlands Castle is just over 5 minutes away. If you wish to leave the city and the car behind and plan to take the train, we are just a 15 minute taxi ride from Havant or Petersfield railway stations. These stations would be the choice for a faster service from London. Bicycles can be hired and delivered here for your arrival.
